CENTRAL UMC VACATION BIBLE CAMP

Starts on Tuesday, August 9 at 2pm

Ends on Thursday, August 11th at 1pm

Central’s Vacation Bible School is returning to Lake 26 camp near Danbury WI and will be a camp for all ages and is an overnight camp with cabins. There will be bible study, crafts, large and small group activities for kids and adults, free time, swimming, kayaking, fellowship, worship services, music and food!   Our theme and focus of study will be learning and discussing what it means to be a Disciple of Christ.

 ALL ARE WELCOME FROM THE ENTIRE UPPER ST. CROIX PARISH

Children going into grade 4 and older may come without a parent/guardian. Children grades 3 and younger must have a parent/guardian with them overnight (you may make arrangements with other adults attending camp to be responsible for your child if you cannot be there—kids attending without a parent must be able to take care of their own needs).

 If you are not able to come for the whole time, please feel free to join us when you can. Lake 26 camp is about 45 minutes from Grantsburg, just east of Danbury, WI. The lake is good for fishing, and adults do not need to be present the whole time. Also, we are     looking for kayaks to borrow for the campers to use.

Please complete one of the registration forms available at each church and return to the Central Church office or to Kim Wheeler.   If you would be willing to take charge of a craft or activity, please indicate on the form. VBS Leaders are invited to come to camp a day early to prepare (and have some adult fellowship time by the campfire). What to bring:

__Beach Towel

__Tooth Brush

__Toothpaste

__Wash Cloth

__Hand Towel             

__Bug Spray

__Sunscreen

__3 days worth of clothes,   including shorts, long pants,     t -shirts, a sweatshirt or jacket, underwear, socks, pajamas

__Camp Chair (optional)
