People Loving People ministry in Dresser is generously donating extra food from their Saturday distribution to Salvation Army Serenity Home shelter in Balsam Lake. Volunteers are needed to transport the food from Dresser to Balsam Lake.
The goal is to find enough people to sign up so they will be asked to pick up and deliver food once in a three to six month period. It takes approximately 2 hours on Saturday. Volunteers need to be in Dresser by 1:00 pm. A mid-size vehicle or larger is needed in order to be able to hold everything. We are currently working on the schedule for May through August. Interested persons should contact Myrna Westen at 715-222-1994. Feel free to share this information with people and groups you know who might be willing to help.
