The Morning Star Korean Cultural Center in Seattle Washington was founded by Dr. Ji Yeon Cheh in 1985. The Center was founded to promote the Korean culture and to spread the Gospel message through the art of Music, Dance and Christian testimony.

Dr. Cheh’s Dance and Music Troupes are made up of devoted Christians who are committed to serve the Lord. The age of the performers ranges from 7 to 30 years old. Their performances are all related to the Bible stories. The Troupes have performed over 2,000 times in USA and around the world.

They have performed in many small and large churches, in Universities including Stanford, at the Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City and Vancouver and the Inaugural Ceremony for the Washington State Governor.

Through the years Dr. Cheh’s Troupes have won top prizes, competing against 95 teams, several times at competitions for Dancing & Music Troupes in Washington State.
